The unidentified man died while being taken to hospital after the truck (Na 3 Kha 7411) hit his bike (Na 7 Pa 5933) in Jyamire, east Chitwan at 10 a.m. The motorcyclist´s pillion rider is currently being treated for injuries.
Locals have obstructed the Jyamire section of the East-West Highway, demanding action against the guilty and compensation for the victims. The truck and its driver are currently under the control of the Area Police Office in Tandi.
