KAVREPALANCHOWK, August 4: A motorcyclist was killed after being hit by a Scorpio jeep coming from the opposite direction near Sajha Petrol Pump in Banepa municipality-14 along the Araniko Highway today.
Police have identified the deceased as Rabin Thapa, 21, of Kotthumka of Banepa municipality-12. The motorcycle (Ba 57 Pa 9569) was en route to Sanga from Banepa when it was hit by the jeep (Ba 17 Cha 8112) at 10:00 am. He breathed his last in course of treatment at the Scheer Memorial Hospital. Pillion rider Sabin Thapa, 26, of Kotthumka is under medical treatment.
