KATHMANDU, Sept 25: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has stated that there is no possibility of the monsoon ending in the next few days.

Ganga Nagarkoti, a meteorologist at the department, said that the monsoon is not likely to end immediately considering the current situation. According to Nagarkoti, for the monsoon to end, the wind should blow from west to east and the water vapor coming from the Bay of Bengal should stop.
The monsoon entered Nepal on June 11 this year. Earlier, the monsoon usually entered Nepal on June 10 and left on September 23. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, from this year, the monsoon will start on June 13 and will end on October 2.
