KATHMANDU, Aug 23: Five players of various sports have been included in the nomination for the People's Choice Award to be presented by Nepal Sports Journalists Forum (NSJF).
The players nominated in this category are member of the Nepali national cricket team Gulshan Jha, national women volleyball player Kabita Bhatta, kabaddi player Manamati Bista, national football player Preeti Rai and rugby player Shreeram Shrestha.
Footballers dominate nominees’ list for Sports Award
One among the five nominees will win the People's Choice Award.
Sports journalists associated with the NSJF, national coach, supporters could cast a vote to nominees of the people's choice through e-sewa.
The weightage of the vote cast through e-sewa would be 50 percent while votes cast through facebook 25 per cent, the weightage of the vote cast by main coach of National Sports Association associated with Nepal Olympic Committee 12 per cent and members of Nepal Sports Journalists Forum 12.5 per cent, shared Chairperson of the organizing Forum, Durga Nath Subedi.
The winner of this category will get a Bajaj Pulsar NS 400 series bike.
