50 inmates get vaccine against COVID-19

DOTI, Feb 5: The District Health Office (DHO), Doti vaccinated 50 inmates against COVID-19. They were administered the vaccine in district jail, according to Information Officer at the DHO, Surya Bista.

DOTI, Feb 5: The District Health Office (DHO), Doti vaccinated 50 inmates against COVID-19. They were administered the vaccine in district jail, according to Information Officer at the DHO, Surya Bista.


A total of 30 security personnel deputed in the jail were also vaccinated against COVID-19 on the occasion.

The DHO has launched the campaign to administer anti-COVID-19 vaccine to 1,526 frontline workers including health workers and the government employees in the first phase. 


The inmates and security personnel were also vaccinated under this scheme. DHO Chief Ramesh Malasi said the health posts/offices in all nine local levels in the district would be gradually provided vaccination against COVID-19. 


The first phase of vaccination would be accomplished within eight days, DHO added.
