PALPA, Sept 4: Three persons died and 18 others sustained injuries when a jeep met with an accident at Galyang municipality-3, Kholsa in Syangja on Wednesday.
The ill-fated jeep (Lu 1 Ja 3841) en route to Galyang from Rambha rural municipality-1, Hungi of Palpa skidded some three hundred meters off the road.
Two killed in Palpa jeep accident
The deceased have been identified as a minor Palsan Pariyar of Waling-13, Manju Gaire (24) of Waling-11, Syangja and Sita Nepali (72) of Rambha-1, Palpa.
According to Assistant Sub Inspector at Galyang Police Station Yamnath Bagale, the minor Pariyar died on the spot while two others breathed their last while undergoing treatment at Lumbini Medical College, Prabhas.
The injured passengers are receiving treatment at Lumbini Medical College.
Police said that heavy load might be the cause of the accident.
