PALPA, Oct 3: A person died on the spot and six others were injured when a jeep met with an accident at Sildanda of Jyamire in Nimdi rural municipality-7 in Palpa district on Monday evening.
The deceased has been identified as Yam Bahadur Gaha, 23, of Nimdi-7 in the district, according to the District Police Office, Palpa.

The injured were rushed to the United Mission Hospital at Tansen in Palpa, police said
The Jyamire-bound jeep (Lu 1 Ja 1809) was coming from Tansen.
The cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained while the investigation into the case is underway, police added.(RSS)
