MAHENDRANAGAR (Dhanusha), Feb 24: A youth was killed after being struck with a motorbike last night in Janakpur.
The deceased has been identified as 19 – year – old Mahesh Pandey, son of Premnath Pandey of Janakpur Sub Metropolis – 7.
Pandey was heading on a cycle towards Mahendranagar on a routine work as a priest when a motorbike (Ja 3 Pa 2359) struck him at Laxminiya road stretch, police said. He succumbed to fatal injuries at Janakpur Zonal Hospital.
Police have detained bike rider, Abhinat Singh, 30, of Janakpur Sub Metropolis – 1. The body is currently being kept at the hospital for an autopsy, according to District Police Office. RSS
