KATHMANDU, March 7 : Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has increased the prices of petrol, diesel and kerosene by Rs 1 liter each. The state-owned petroleum monopolist took the decision on Friday.With the fresh adjustment, petrol will cost Rs 110 per liter, while diesel and kerosene will be retailed at Rs 87.6 per liter from Friday midnight. NOC Spokesperson Mukunda Ghimire said fuel prices have been raised slightly by using the price stabilization fund which was set up by the government as per the automatic price fixation mechanism.
India had raised price of petrol by Rs 5 per liter on March 1.
