Following the provincial elections, an Ordinance Drafting Committee was formed under Minindra Rijal, the party’s central member. Today’s meeting will make necessary changes on the draft and approve accordingly. The new ordinance draft builds upon previous parliamentary party’s ordinances. Only then will Nepali Congress initiate nominations of provincial parliamentarians.

“We’ve drafted the ordinance and today’s meeting will approve the document with necessary amendments,” Minendra Rijal said.
