KATHMANDU, Jan 18: Eight people have been found dead in various locations across Nepal this weekend. According to police sources, the bodies of the deceased were found in Kathmandu, Ilam, Sarlahi, Baglung, Bhojpur, Kaski, and Ramechhap.
Som Prasad Ghimire, 47, from Jhapa’s Kamal Rural Municipality-4, was found dead in a zinc shack in Besigaun, Gokarneshwor Municipality-8, Kathmandu, on Saturday.
Bishnu Bahadur Subedi, 79, from Bijuwani, Ilam Municipality-6, was found dead on Friday.
Eight-year-old girl found dead in suspicious condition
Likewise, Deepak KC, 45, from Ganapati Chowk, Ishwarpur Municipality-7, Sarlahi, was found dead in his residence on Friday.
Laxman GC, 55, from Baglung Municipality-8, was found dead in an empty shed in Tityang, Baglung Municipality-9, on Friday.
Sixty-five-year-old Barna Bahadur Rai’s body was found in a bamboo ravine near the road in Sungruk, Hatuwagadhi Rural Municipality-6, Bhojpur, on Saturday.
Similarly, the corpse of Rabi Gurung, 50, from Shishuwa Parbati Tole, Pokhara Metropolitan Municipality-30, Kaski, was found in his own house on Saturday.
Police are currently investigating the cause of the deaths.
