Strengthening the bond through art exhibition

Though having similar theme they have been successful to showcase their individuality and uniqueness in their paintings.

KATHMANDU


Mithila Yain Art Gallery, Thamel is garnered with group art exhibition 'Friendship international Art Exhibition' that kicked off on September 6. A total of 29 artists from India have exhibited their work where their major motifs are based on nature, religion, culture and everyday life.

Most of the artists have painted realistic paintings using vibrant colors such as green, red, orange, blue and more. Among them Suranjit Giri is the only artist who displayed his prints using woodcut and linocut printmaking technique.


The exhibition aims at developing friendship and network between the artists of two countries which has been jointly organized by Mithila Yain Art Gallery and BM Fine Art & Culture. Using religious motif Lord Krishna and Goddess Radha artists Sarmistha Sankar Das and Subha Das created eye catching paintings that are unique and different from each other.


Though having similar theme they have been successful to showcase their individuality and uniqueness in their paintings. 


The exhibition featuring vibrancy from India continues till September 10.
