Dr Koirala, who is currently on a visit to the UK, discussed various issues related to Nepal’s peace process during the meeting. Martin emphasized the need for Nepal to conclude the peace process as soon as possible.
According to Koirala's Private Secretariat, Martin expressed the view that the peace process should not be prolonged. He urged for a swift resolution of the transitional justice issue, particularly as Nepal currently faces no violence and the then rebel party has already participated in the electoral process.
