Kathmandu Police arrests eight

KATHMANDU, Sept 23: Police have arrested six gamblers on Saturday.

KATHMANDU, Sept 23: Police have arrested six gamblers on Saturday. 


According to Metropolitan Police Range, the gamblers were arrested from Prem Khaja Ghar at Kathmandu-3, Bansbari including the owner Prem Magar of Dolakha with Rs 17,920 while they were playing cards.

Similarly, police also arrested two persons from Shankharapur municipality-6, Salamputar for allegedly stealing 106 mobile sets. 


The arrestees are Ashok Bista and Aashish Acharya. The police found 64 and 42 cell phone sets from the residence of Bista and Acharya respectively during a raid.


The police said they have launched an investigation into both of the cases.
