KATHMANDU, March 31: myrepublica.com asked singer-musician and profound music curator Aavaas what his ten most loved romantic songs from the classic Nepali modern music are. This is his response: [break]



“Truly, how did people learn to love for the first time? From the times of jungle age to this day, what form is love, as we know it, in - modern, post-modern or ultra-modern. Maybe it will be interesting to find that out. I don’t know why would my choice of love songs be of importance? But, these are my personal choices. So, please understand on that manner, and nothing more.”

Aavaas is a composer, lyricist, musician and singer and curates for Paleti, a monthly music event at the Nepa~laya’s R-Sala. He has released two instrumental albums and a solo live endeavor called Palaa Palaa. He has done background music for few feature films, documentaries, dramas and radio programs.
