Nepathya to perform in London

KATHMANDU, July 19: Come August 8, Nepal’s much loved folk-rock band Nepathya will be performing at the O2 Academy Brixton in the UK.

In a press statement released by nepa~laya, the promoters of the band, nepa~laya’s Kiran Krishna Shrestha has been quoted as saying, “We were searching for another intimate yet historic venue and this came out as a perfect choice in terms of size and reputation. With this performance, Nepathya’s name will be included in the venue’s list of musicians which include Bob Dylan, Madonna, Iron Maiden, Sex Pistols, Eric Clapton, and The Police among others.”

Along with their evergreen hits, Nepathya also plans to perform at least four new songs from their 10th album, the recording of which has been recently completed. One song in particular, titled ‘Naina taala, naina taala’ will be performed in dedication to all the Gurkha soldiers who served and are serving humanity across the world.

The UK show is being organized and coordinated by UK based Elyte Events.
