KATHMANDU, July 23: Mega Bank has entered into 6th year of operation. At a program organized in Kathmandu to mark the bank's 5th anniversary, bank's chairman Madan Kumar Dahal said that the chief aim of the bank at present is consolidation and expansion.
"We have taken past five years as establishment period and now the bank has entered into a phase of consolidation and expansion," Dahal said.

"The bank will now focus on initiating joint venture operation outside the nation, expansion of regional-level offices and growing reach of banking services in country's rural areas."
Dahal also informed that the bank will continue to strive to perform its best in the competitive market despite the negative impact of recent earthquake on financial sector.
The bank now has 28 branch offices across the country, 31 ATMs, 47 branchless banking centers and 1,200 Mega Remit agents.
