PM Oli likely to visit India soon: Indian envoy Rae

KATHMANDU, Oct 20: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is likely to visit India very soon, Indian Ambassador to Nepal Ranjit Rae said on Tuesday.

Speaking with media persons at Indian Embassy, Lazimpat, Rae said though the date for the visit has not been fixed but is likely very soon."The date has not been fixed," Rae added, "However, the invitation from India has been cordially accepted by Nepal."

'We are aware of Tarai unrest'

Meanwhile, Rae said that his country was aware of the Tarai unrest. "We are aware of Tarai problems. It is related to the constitution," he added.

He also said that Nepal government should address the Tarai demands. "The government should understand the difficulties if Tarai problems are not addressed timely," he added.

Rae said that the unrest will also affect both Nepal and India.
