Youth kills uncle with stone grinder

PALPA, March 24: A youth killed his maternal uncle, hitting him with a stick and stone grinder at Myauchhap, Khanigau-4 here in the district.



Khagu Basyal, 19, killed his maternal uncles Tara Prasad Neupane with a stick and stone grinder, police said after conducting an initial investigation. He was taken into police custody Saturday night. The youth was staying at his uncle’s house for SLC exams. He admitted to having killed his uncle after finishing taking examinations. He told police that he took his uncle´s life as the latter would often create trouble after consuming alcohol.
