President Paudel appoints ambassador to India and Malaysia

The president appointed Dr Shankar Prasad Sharma as the resident ambassador to India and Netra Prasad Timisina to Malaysia upon the recommendation of the Council of Ministers, reads a statement issued by the President’s Office.

KATHMANDU, Dec 18: President Ram Chandra Paudel has appointed Nepal’s Resident Ambassador to the Republic of India and Malaysia.


The president appointed Dr Shankar Prasad Sharma as the resident ambassador to India and Netra Prasad Timisina to Malaysia upon the recommendation of the Council of Ministers, reads a statement issued by the President’s Office.

They have been appointed as ambassadors in accordance with Article 282, Clause 1 of the Constitution of Nepal 2015.
