KATHMANDU, Dec 19: The ongoing Women's U-19 Asia Cup ‘Super-4’ match between Nepal and Sri Lanka has been halted due to rain.


The match that started a few minutes ago at Bayuemas Oval Cricket Ground in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, has been halted due to rain. Nepal won the toss and started fielding against Sri Lanka. After the first over, the match was stopped as it started raining.

Nepal defeated Pakistan by 6 wickets in the first match and entered the Super-4.


Similarly, after the last match of the group stage was canceled due to rain, Nepal and India shared one point each. However, India became the winner of Group 'A' on the basis of run rate, while Nepal became the runner-up.
