Nine arrested in four months through INTERPOL red notices

Between mid-July and mid-November, Interpol headquarters issued red notices against 12 individuals at the request of NCB Kathmandu.

KATHMANDU, Dec 18: Police, in collaboration with the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL), arrested nine individuals hiding abroad in the past four months.


Between mid-July and mid-November, Interpol headquarters issued red notices against 12 individuals at the request of NCB Kathmandu. Out of these, nine fugitives have been apprehended, while the search for the remaining three continues.

In contrast, during the same period last fiscal year, only one individual was arrested under a red notice.
