Advocate Khada Nanda Kandel filed the writ petition on Tuesday, seeking to overturn the government’s move. The SC has scheduled a hearing for Wednesday.
Earlier, on October 24, the NEA had disconnected power supply to 34 industries for non-payment of dues related to dedicated feeder and trunk line services. While some industries have begun paying in installments, others continue to refuse, despite being billed for the services provided during the time of load shedding.
