KATHMANDU, Jan 13: Tribhuvan University (TU) has directed all campuses not to admit students for undergraduate courses after the deadline specified for the academic year.
The TU Rector’s Office issued this directive to the deans of its affiliated campuses instructing them not to enroll undergraduate students seeking admissions after the application deadline.
FSU elections halted at 13 campuses
The directive issued by TU’s Rector, Prof Dr Khadak KC, on Sunday states, “As per the academic calendar, only students admitted within the specified time are allowed to sit for the exams. It has come to our attention that some students were admitted after the deadline. Therefore, we request all concerned campuses not to admit any students beyond the date mentioned in the academic calendar and admission notice.”
With the new directive, students who have not completed the official admission process will be barred from attending the exams.
