KATHMANDU, Jan 13: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chair Rabi Lamichhane is scheduled to be brought to the court again today. Yesterday, Kathmandu District Court Judge Madhav Prasad Adhikari ordered him to appear in court at 10 am today and ordered him to be kept in judicial custody.
He was sent to custody because the detention hearing was not completed. With this, the RSP Chair will remain in police custody until the hearing is completed. He will remain in the custody of the District Police Complex, Kathmandu. The bench decided to hand Lamichhane over to the police after the government prosecutor requested not to proceed with the detention hearing, stating that time was needed to study Lamichhane's statement.
