The Alliance Française Kathmandu is hosting their annual event, ‘Fête de la Musique’ (translated ‘Music Festival’) on the special occasion of World Music Day. The event is scheduled on June 21, Friday at Chhaya Center, Thamel.
The Alliance Française Kathmandu’s event will have various performances from newcomers as well as senior artists. “Just as the previous years, we'll prepare an amazing line-up made up of new as well as senior artists to delight your ears and ... dancing craves!,” the Facebook event’s description reads.
Some of the performances include Nischant Gurung, Niksherpa and the Band, Bijaya Thapa, and Pema Lama. After the performances, the event will have an after-party by DJ Ranzen at House of Music, Thamel.
