As a management student, I often think of where I want to be in the next 5 to 10 years in my life. To be honest, in management, every action starts with planning and ends with its execution- Be it a big or small plan. Napoleon Hill, the author of Think and Grow Rich writes in his book, “Gratitude is a beautiful word. It is beautiful because it describes a state of mind that is deeply spiritual in nature. It enhances one’s personality with magnetic charm, and it is the master key that opens the door to the magic powers and the beauty of infinite intelligence.”
When I read these remarkable lines, I sensed that everyone should live with a deeper understanding of life. Why? Because he/she knows the real beauty of the intelligence within in his/her life. Of course, there nothing is impossible. Especially at times when we’re chasing our goals. Meanwhile, psychological researches show that most of the people stop at 40 percent of their actual capacity. This makes sense: when things get difficult, your mind goes into survival mode instead of focusing on the degree of concentration at your task.

First and foremost, therefore, if you want to try that right way, you should think about your set goal, write it down, give it a timeline, and think of all potential obstacles you will face in achieving that goal. You should also come up with an if-then response because you will have to undergo along with those obstacles.
Needless to say, by writing down all these, you can start training your brain to put them into action long before you need to. Here, I’d like to quote Abraham Lincoln, “Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four hours sharpening the axe.” I think this is the most beautiful, useful, and powerful quote when it comes to planning for any action.
Every now and then, it is not surprising to say that people are often indulged in useless activities in their lives. That’s the reason why they cannot envision their goals and meaning of life. Everything has a past — everything be it a person, an object or a book. If you don’t know the past, you can’t understand the present and hence plan properly for the future. After all, the more focused you are, the more you’ll be successful in life.
Ina nutshell, you should visualize your goals and meaning of life, and realize where you want to stand in your life? The better you will execute them — hopefully at staying on the right track to ultimately succeed at the end of the day.
