Why is your transcript important?
Your transcript is vital to you because this proves that you have completed your education. Also, you will need this document to apply to colleges in Nepal or aboard. When applying to universities outside, you are required to attest the photocopy of your transcript. For example, if you are applying to America, the United States Education Foundation (USEF) will attest your papers.

Different universities grade students differently. While most of the colleges use percentage system, Kathmandu University uses the Grade Point Average (GPA) system, which is widely used in the world. Translating your percentage to GPA can be troublesome and different colleges have different style of converting it. The best way out of this is to email your college or university your percentage and ask them to convert it for you.
Paper translations
If any of your papers are not in English but you need it in English, you can visit a lawyer who is a member of the Notary Public. A Notary Public authorized lawyer can also attest your official documents related to the Government of Nepal. However, if you are sending a photocopy of the translated document, it is best that you have it attested by the concerned authorized agency like the USEF for USA.
