The freed kamlaharies have run Freed Kamlahari Saving and Credit Cooperative in Jhalari and Lawanggar. They have 25 kamlaharies in each cooperative that have been into operation since last month. They have started the each cooperatives investing Rs. 13,500.
According to Gita Chaudhary, a member of the lawanggar cooperative they are providing a loan in low interest which they are investing on skill oriented jobs.
Each of the cooperative would save Rs 10 per month, said Chaudhary.
Kalsiya Rana, chairman of the Kamlahari saving and credit cooperative said they are going to involve more kamlaharies and make them self dependent.
