RUKUM, April 6: Two sisters have been found dead in Putha Uttarganga Rural Municipality-3 in Rukum East. The two sisters who had gone out to pick Himalayan Nettle on Wednesday evening were found dead this morning.
Two daughters of local Taraman Budha, Rina Budha Magar, 11, and Kalimaya Budha Magar, 9, were found dead, said Puniraj Gharti Magar, chairman of the rural municipality.
Injunction continues as tension flares up in Rukum East
According to the District Police Office Chief Deputy Superintendent (DSP) Anjana Shrestha, the two missing girls were found dead on a cliff of Ranma village this morning while the locals were searching for them on Wednesday evening. She said that the police are going to the scene for further investigation of the incident. Locals suspect that robbers might have killed them after robbing their jewelry.
