Man dies of electrocution in Budhanilkantha

Issuing a notice on Monday, the Education Division of the metropolis gave a two-day deadline, citing disruption in teaching activities due to the ongoing protest by the Nepal Teachers’ Association.

KATHMANDU, April 28: A man died after suffering an electric shock in Budhanilkantha Municipality-1.


The deceased has been identified as Krishna Chaudhary, 25, originally from Madhuwan Municipality-8 in Bardiya. He was currently living in Budhanilkantha. According to the Central Police News Room, the incident occurred on Sunday.

He sustained serious injuries while digging a house foundation with a hammering machine when he came in contact with electricity. He was rushed to Grande International Hospital, where he succumbed during treatment.
