Two Province 2 ministers elected as representatives for NC’s General Convention

KATHMANDU, Nov 23: Province Minister for Urban Development, Dilli Bahadur Chaudhary, and State Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Arjun Shrestha have been elected as representatives for the general convention.

KATHMANDU, Nov 23: Two ministers from Province 2 have been elected as representatives for the upcoming General Convention of the ruling Nepali Congress. Province Minister for Urban Development, Dilli Bahadur Chaudhary, and State Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Arjun Shrestha have been elected as representatives for the general convention. 


Minister Chaudhary has been elected as the representative from Dang Constituency 3, while State Minister Shrestha was elected from Dang constituency 2.

Similarly, Dang’s treasurer for NC, Sabitra Rana was also elected as the representative for the party's General Convention from Dang constituency 2. Likewise, Debi Maya Thapa was also elected as the representative for Dang Constituency 1. 


Elections for Dang’s three constituency leadership underway


The NC is holding an election for constituency leadership of Dang today. There are seven candidates for the post of NC’s President for Dang’s three constituencies. 


In constituency 1, Besh Raj Pandey and Sarwajeet Dangi are competing for the post. In constituency 2, Chitra Bahadur Dangi and Bhim Prakash Khadka are competing against each other. Likewise, Jagat Bahadur Khadka, Surendra Khadka, and Kiran Bahadur Shah are competing for the post in constituency 3.
