KATHMANDU, April 14: Kathmandu RayZRs secured a 2–0 victory over Chitwan FC in the latest match of the Nepal Super League (NSL), keeping their playoff hopes alive.
In the match held on Monday at Dashrath Stadium, goals from Bakary Mane and Amadou Diop sealed the win for Kathmandu. Chitwan were reduced to 10 players in the 56th minute when Alizon Alizhonov was sent off after receiving a second yellow card, following an incident involving Yusuf Malik.

Chitwan captain Anjan Bista failed to convert two clear chances that could have given his team the lead earlier in the match.
Following the win, Kathmandu have 8 points from six matches: two wins, two draws, and two losses. Chitwan, on the other hand, are now under pressure, remaining at 7 points from five matches. To keep their playoff hopes alive, Chitwan must defeat Dhangadhi FC in their final group-stage match, while Kathmandu will have to rely on results from other matches.
