KATHMANDU, Oct 19: Almost all the party’s leaders and activists have concentrated in Pokhara after the arrest of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairman Rabi Lamichhane in connection with the Suryadarshan Cooperative fraud case.
The party leaders and activists have been staging protests and shouting strong slogans against the government in Pokhara since Saturday morning. They have accused the government of arresting Party Chairman Lamichhane without any valid reasons.

During the protest, they are chanting slogans such as "Give justice to cooperative victims," "We demand justice," "This government is unacceptable," "Punish human traffickers," and "Beware, brokers and mafias."
Lamichhane was arrested Friday evening from the RSP central office after the Kaski District Court issued an arrest warrant in connection with the cooperative fraud case. He was taken to Kaski overnight. Lamichhane was accompanied by several RSP leaders who traveled to Pokhara in solidarity against the arrest.
