KATHMANDU, Sept 19: Nepal Association of Rafting Agencies (NARA) has requested the government to reopen the adventurous sports, which is one of the major attractions of Nepali tourism fraternity.
Entrepreneurs urge government to separate area for rafting
As tourism related activities like mountaineering have resumed after lockdown and prohibitory order, the NARA asked in writing to the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation to consider reopening adventurous water sports like rafting and kayaking.
The association has urged all concerned for ensuring necessary coordination between the government and people directly or indirectly associated with the sector for smooth and safe reoperation of the sector. There are around 10,000 people working in the field.
