PM misses NCP tea-party, doc prescribes to take rest

KATHMANDU, Oct 27: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli could not attend the tea party organized by his own party Nepal Communist Party on Saturday.


PM and party chairperson Oli missed the event following health issue. According to the source at Baluwatar, the medical team attending Oli prescribed him to take rest.


“He is not sick but he needs proper rest for which he did not attend the party”, the source said.

Meanwhile, party general secretary Bishnu Poudel said that the PM has sent his good vibes for the program. “Though he is not present here physically due to the health issue, he has sent good vibes for the program”, he said.


Ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has hosted the tea reception today in the capital on the occasion of Vijaya Dashami, Deepawali, Nepal Sambat and Chhath festivals. The party has invited over 50,000 people for the event.


Various dignitaries including the party’s cadres, chief ministers and ministers and people from various walks of life attended the program.
