GAINGHAT (Udayapur), Jan 19: The local authorities demolished dams built at the Dwara riverside of Beltar Basaha Municipality – 2 with the purpose of encroaching upon public land.
The local land mafia built the dam in three hundred meters of land area leaving only 50 meters for the river.
The local civil society and government authorities demolished the dam as it was meant for grabbing public land, Inspector, Asha Ram Chaudhary, of Area Police Office, Beltar said. RSS
