64 types of materials for one polling center

SINDHUPALCHOK, Nov 22: As many as 64 types of election materials will be used during parliamentary and provincial elections scheduled for November 26 and December 7.

SINDHUPALCHOK, Nov 22: As many as 64 types of election materials will be used during parliamentary and provincial elections scheduled for November 26 and December 7. A needle, thread, envelope, watch, torchlight, calculator, cohesive substance, piece of cloth, matchbox to very sensitive materials will be used at the election center.



The Election Commission (EC) categorized ballot box, stamp, rubber stamp, inedible ink, elections record report as sensitive materials. As many as 13 election materials including ballot box, rubber stamp, seal will be handed over to the polling officer.

Similarly, stamp, inedible ink, ball pen (black and red), marker pen, adhesive are packed in a plastic bag before sending them to the respective election centers. 


Needles, safety pin and thread will be packed in an envelope. Plastic bags, plastic sacks, scale, wrapping tape, record file among other 11 materials are enlisted as things to be packed in the sack.


Whereas the placards mentioned in and out, men and women, weighing scale and measuring scale among others 15 materials will be dispatched unpacked.
