KATHMANDU, Dec 23: Students of Tri-Chandra College in Kathmandu have staged demonstration since early this morning demanding control of black-marketing and implementation of concession on public transport fair as agreed earlier.

We are forced to come out to street when helpers of public vehicle attempted to attack students with iron rod while demanding concession, said Nepal Students Union (NSU)'s Tri-Chandra Campus President Bishnu Poudel.

The agitating students smashed screen of vehicles denying to provide concession on fair, said Assistant Inspector at Metropolitan Police Circle, Durbar Marg, Ram Singh Bista.

He informed that they took control a microbus, Ba 1 Ja 8284, operated on Bouddha-Jorpati route and put forward the process to take action for not complying with the rule on concession.

"The agitation will be continued till the action against the vehicles not ready to grant state-sponsored fair concession to the students", student leader Poudel said. RSS
