Keshab Lamsal at Bharatpur Airport said that the arrival of domestic as well as foreign tourist was good starting from the month of July.
President of Regional Hotel Association, Shankar Sainju said the arrival of Chinese tourist was encouraging till the month of August. According to him, the average tourist arrival was around 500 per day. “The booking of October is almost 100 percent in most of the hotels,” added he.
Chitwan is among the top three tourist destinations of the country. The special attraction of Chitwan includes elephant ride, jungle safari, boating among others. According to Chitwan National park, more than 170,000 foreign tourists visited the national park in last fiscal year.
