KATHMANDU, Jan 23: Among Jhapa’s five constituencies, Constituency-5 has the highest number of voters, according to the District Election Office. Office chief Tulsi Nepal.
He informed the district has a total of 713,537 voters, including 50,000 newly added voters this time.
Voter count rises by 5.65 percent ahead of upcoming election
In Constituency-5 alone, there are 81,081 male, 82,296 female, and two other voters, totaling 163,379 voters. The constituency has 61 polling locations and 185 polling centers.
Constituency-4 has 130,712 voters—66,283 male, 64,428 female, and one other—with 63 polling locations and 156 polling centers.
Constituency-3 has 110,857 voters, including 71,174 male and 69,683 female, with 67 polling locations and 164 polling centers.
Constituency-2 has 147,522 voters—73,950 male, 73,567 female, and five others—with 49 polling locations and 165 polling centers.
Similarly, Constituency- 1 has 65,858 male and 65,209 female voters, with 43 polling locations and 145 polling centers, according to the office chief.
