The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index increased by 55.59 points (2 percent) last week amid high volatility in the secondary market following the formation of a new government.

In the last fiscal year, the department issued permits for the extraction of limestone, tourmaline, talc, quartz, kyanite, marble, iron, zinc, quartzite, magnesite, dolomite, and copper.

The procedure has been issued in accordance with the Public Health Service Act, 2075 BS to make hospital services more people-friendly, accessible and effective.

The NMA said the Ministry of Health and Population’s request to run OPD services on Sundays is not feasible without additional staff. It argued that doctors and health workers are already overburdened with round-the-clock duties, including on-call, rounds and emergency services.

The clarification comes after a notice issued by the Department of Foreign Employment on April 6 created confusion among migrant workers.
