While the whole city sleeps in their cozy bed, KP Khanal, an aspiring young activist, in company of his team, gathers in the street. The reason is to see Kathmandu city clean and green. So, along with his team with the help of brooms, together they clean the streets in Kathmandu.

Born and raised in Ramaroshan Rural Municipality nestled in Achham district, Khanal came to Kathmandu to pursue his higher studies. However, things went differently for young Khanal as he found Kathmandu streets dirty and dusty. The plight of the environment saddened him so much that he took it upon himself to improve the situation.

He then initiated a campaign on Facebook and asked like-minded people to join him in the venture. At first, when he was seen cleaning the streets alone in the wee hours in the morning, he was called crazy, but that didn’t stop him. It only pushed him further toward his dream of seeing green and clean Kathmandu.
