KATHMANDU, Dec 30: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) arrested two government officials on the charge of taking bribe.
“Acting on a complaint that the officials were taking bribe, an anti-graft body team caught Engineer Kapil Aryal and Sub-Engineer Laxman Dhungana of Shuddhodhan rural municipality with Rs 80,000 bribe,” said the press release issued by the CIAA today.

They were alleged to have taken the bribe for approving the map of an old building and documenting it.
The anti-graft body is investigating the case after taking Aryal and Dhungana into custody.
