BAJURA, Dec 5: Nepali Congress General-Secretary Bishwa Prakash Sharma has said no discussion was held among the ruling alliance parties regarding a change in the government.

At a news conference organized by Bajura chapter of Nepal Press Union, Sharma mentioned that no discussion was held in the alliance and party regarding government change.

The NC General-Secretary shared that the party should criticize weaknesses of the government and appreciate the positive activities it has carried out, adding protesting the wrong activities at a time when the NC is in the government would be a democratic practice.

He expressed the commitment that the NC would not lag behind to make the government aware by carrying out supervision of its every activity and to support the good activities.

The NC leader clarified that the Mahasamiti convention is the convention to make policy, not electing a leadership, laying emphasis that leaders should be worried about making party's rule rather than for leadership in the Mahasamiti convention.

"We should not worry about Mission 2084. We should be worried about how to take the country on the right path within 2081-2083," he said.
