BIRATNAGAR, Sept 21: No cases of COVID-19 were recorded in nine districts of province-1 in the last 24 hours. The Ministry of Social Development shared the information that there was no case of coronavirus in Udayapur, Bhojpur, Tehrathum, Sankhuwasabha, Okhaldhunga, Khotang, Solukhumbu, Taplejung and Panchthar districts.
However, in the same period, 215 new cases of coronavirus were recorded in other districts. The cases were detected in the course of 171 PCR tests and 200 antigens conducted during the period. The districts that have recorded new COVID-19 cases include Jhapa (94), Sunsari (38), Morang (33), Ilam (2), Dhankuta (1) and 3 others from outside the province.
How to help vulnerable groups
Similarly, a total of 278 persons got rid of COVID-19.They include 136 women and 142 men. Three persons succumbed to COVID-19 in the province in the last 24 hours.
