The sensitive index that measures the performance of blue chips companies also declined 1.12 points. Out of the 13 trading groups, five including hydropower, investment, hotels and tourism, finance and manufacturing and processing gained in their average market values.

Among individual companies, Nepal Doorsanchar Company Limited posted the largest transaction of its shares worth Rs 53.91 million. People’s Hydropower Company was the top loser, while CYC Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited gained the highest percent of its market value.
