KATHMANDU, Nov 7: Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) dropped marginally by 6.43 points to close at 1,958.94 points on Monday.
The secondary market observed fluctuations throughout the trading time. The market opened at 1,965.36 points and reached the day’s high at 1,987.26 points before falling to 1,955.78 points before closing for the day.

The daily turnover amount surged to Rs 2.10 billion, up from Rs 1.54 billion on the previous day. According to stockbrokers, an increase in pressure for both buying and selling shares led to a notable increase in the transaction amount.
Jalpa Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha had the largest transaction of its shares worth Rs 151.61 million. Global IME Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha was the topmost loser whereas Dhaulagiri Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha gained the highest percent in its share price.
