KATHMANDU, OCT 17: Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) on Monday declined marginally by 2.61 points, while the daily turnover stood at meager Rs 515.81 million.
The secondary market opened at 1,860.94 points and reached as high as 1,864.56 points, before going down to close finally at 1,858.33 points. The sensitive index that measures the performance of blue chip companies, however, gained 0.2 points.

Of the 13 trading groups, five including hotels and tourism, others, trading, banking and mutual fund gained in the intraday trading. In the individual companies, Nabil Bank had the largest transaction worth Rs 27.91 million. People’s Power Limited was the topmost loser while Aviyan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited gained the largest percent of its market value.
