Mega Bank campaign to promote habit of saving

KATHMANDU, Sept 6: Mega Bank has launched a campaign named "Nanima Lageko Baani: Aja Bachau - Jindagi Bhari Ramau".



Issuing a statement, the commercial bank said that the initiative aims to promote the use of banking channels throughout all strata of society in line with the government's objective.



The bank has appointed Nepali cricket team captain Paras Khadka and popular actor Priyanka Karki as 'Mega Savings Stars' -- the face of its campaign.



"It is the bank's intent to begin a focused campaign by utilizing the persona of our Mega Savings Stars to garner and inculcate and establish a saving habit beginning from the youth, targeting the education sector," reads the statement.



"The main aim of the campaign is for our Mega Savings Stars, through media and visits, to persuade school and college students of the country to initiate a banking habit by starting a 'Mega Sambandha' by opening of their saving accounts," it added.
